DCF bulls are hand fed a limited high roughage ration which encourages natural pasture grazing. Ensuring when the bull is turned out in your pasture, he knows how to make a living. DCF is concentrating on the demands of the commercial cattleman's needs in the southern United States. We are holding our cattle to a higher standard for fertility, reproduction, longevity, and prioritizing accurate birth weights and heavier actual weaning weights. We are selecting our sires, natural and A.I., to uphold our high standards. We are doing this by selecting bulls with excellent feet, ability to travel, well-muscled, slick haired, and black as the ace of spades. Many of these reasons are why we decided to start an Ultra Black Program with a small selection of our Angus cows.
